Also, the screen has been certified by the authoritative image quality agency DisplayMate A+ and achieved 15 quality records were recorded.
Lastly, according to a Weibo blogger, the Redmi K50 e-sports version uses Huaxing Optoelectronics flexible straight screen. Apart from the DisplayMate A+ certification, it also supports 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and can be used at 120Hz full load.
It was previously revealed that the Redmi K50 e-sports version uses a 6.67-inch display.
In terms of core configuration, the Redmi K50 e-sports version will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Plus, it will have a total VC heat dissipation area of 4860mm², a battery capacity of 4700mAh, which is going to support 120W fast charging, and it will be the first in the world to come with a CyberEngine ultra-wideband motor.
When it comes to appearance, the Redmi K50 e-sports version uses a matte homogenous process, with X-shaped three-dimensional cut volume keys, CD-patterned shoulder key switches, and an all-metal frame and 3D micro-finishing arc. The new machine retains the shoulder key design, and at the same time upgrades the shoulder key to version 2.0, which can bring a better operating feel. Its structure is optimized, and the “strike feeling” is upgraded again.
The K50 e-sports version has a pop-up shoulder button 2.0 with a hidden design. They are not for daily use. That’s why the company has perfectly hidden them. But when playing, with a single push, it will activate. It is made of high-quality NdFeB magnets and the principle is similar to a maglev train.
Generally talking, the Redmi K50 e-sports version has a unique “tail” with a rich textured design and symmetrical “X” shape. Redmi also said that the K50 gaming version insists on choosing the physical “hard shoulder keys.” There are a few reasons for that:
- Higher cost, greater challenge to structural design,
- The real impact, comfortable key travel, no delay, and crisp rebound.
The Redmi K50 series will have three versions coming with different chips, namely Snapdragon 870, Dimensity 8000, and Dimensity 9000. They will correspond to the Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro, and Redmi K50 Pro+, respectively.
