Lenovo Legion Y700 Gaming Tablet To Provide 6 Hours of Continuous Gameplay

Today, Lenovo’s official Weibo channel released promotional information about this year’s first Legion Y700 gaming 8-inch tablet.

From the poster, we can learn that the Lenovo Legion Y700 gaming tablet has a built-in 6550mAh large battery, which can run mainstream games for about 6 hours continuously. Also, it supports 45W super flash charging. The company said: “This battery life is outrageous.”

In terms of core configuration, the Lenovo Legion Y700 gaming tablet will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor and an 8.8-inch 120Hz high refresh rate screen, which will boast a resolution of 2560*1600 pixels, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.

In addition, this tablet also supports the JBL sound system, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos, which can bring a better gaming and audio-visual experience.

According to the official data referring to game tests, in the 120 high frame rate test of “Honor of Kings”, the Legion Y700 was stable at 119.1fps throughout the whole process. Though the frame rate was almost stable in a straight line, the highest surface temperature of the fuselage was only 36.5 ℃ (room temperature 23 ℃).

It is worth mentioning that the Legion Y700 also supports the “super-wide field of view mode” of MOBA games (currently supports “Honor of Kings” and “League of Legends Mobile Games”).

This mode can be turned on or off at will. Users can also choose to turn it on in the middle or turn it on at the bottom. After turning it on, you can instantly enlarge the game screen, just like a physical plug-in.

Many people use the small-screen iPad mini as a “game console”. However, the latter suffers from poor battery life. So those users have been thinking that there will be a manufacturer to launch a flagship Android tablet with a small screen and high refresh rate. In this sense, the Lenovo Legion Y700 should be what they are looking for.

As a reminder, apart from the Legion Y700 gaming tablet, the company has also prepared a gaming smartphone in face of the Lenovo Legion Y90. The latter will sport a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and use a 6.9-inch Samsung E4 OLED screen that supports a 144Hz refresh rate and a 720Hz touch sampling rate. There will be a 44-megapixel camera on the front, while the main camera on the back will include a 64-megapixel main lens and a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The battery capacity is expected to reach 5300mAh and it should support 68W fast charging. T
