We know that the Redmi K50 series new product launch conference will be held after the Spring Festival.
Three Models Of Redmi K50 Series
Prior to this, we learned that there will be at least three models. Each of them will sport a different chip. They are the Snapdragon 870, Dimensity 8000, and Dimensity 9000. These SoCs should correspond to the Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro, and Redmi K50 Pro+, respectively.
However, we also know that there is another model namely the Redmi K50 e-sports version. The company has preheated the K50 e-sports version many times before, and the configuration includes Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, 120W fast charging, 4700mAh battery, the first CyberEngine ultra-wideband motor, etc.
Recently, some tipsters disclosed the latest news of the Redmi K50, revealing the price of the entire series.
Judging from the information released by the leaker, the Redmi K50 with the Snapdragon 870 processor and a 67W fast charging support will come at 1999 yuan ($314).
The Redmi K50 Pro with the Dimensity 8000 and a 66W fast charging support will start at 2699 yuan ($424).
The Redmi K50 Pro+ with the Dimensity 9000 and a 120W fast charging support will cost 3299 yuan ($519).
The Redmi K50 Gaming Edition with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and a 120W fast charging support will be priced from 3499 yuan ($550).
Previously, we have heard that the Redmi K50 Pro+ will hit the premium phone segment. Although it will come with a MediaTek processor, the Dimensity 9000 is very powerful in parameters, and it doesn’t yield the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
At the same time, the machine will also sport a 2K high refresh rate screen. Also, we knew that its price will let the phone compete with the premium-class Xiaomi Mi 12. However, the product strength of the two is very different.
As for the lowest-end Snapdragon 870 version, the vanilla K50, it has been expected to further reduce the price.
