There are not many smartphones using under-display camera technology. The first of them was the ZTE Axon 20. In mid- 2021, the company introduced the second-gen model from this series, namely the ZTE Axon 30. And though the latter came with true improvements in terms of technology, it hasn’t managed to become famous. In this sense, the Xiaomi MIX 4 with the third-gen under-screen camera has become more popular than the mentioned two models. However, we should admit that it is still available only on select models. But we should also point out that there are more handsets with an in-screen camera on the horizon. At least, we know that the Red Magic 7 gaming smartphone will come with such technology as well.
Red Magic 7 Features
Recently, we heard that the phone had passed through the TENAA certification. From the listing, we learned that it will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 flagship chip. By the way, we are talking about Qualcomm’s first SoC to use Arm v9 CPU cores as well as Samsung’s 4nm process node technology. The handset reached 1,101,769 points in AnTuTu, outrunning all current models in the market. The SoC will be paired with up to 18GB of memory. There will be an active cooling fan with 20,000 rpm. We also know that the phone will come with the 41279mm2 large heat dissipation area soaking plate.
Besides, the Red Magic 7 will support 165W ultra-fast charging. It will allow the phone to charge a 4500mAh battery in less than 10 minutes. Also, when it is out, Nubia’s gaming smartphone will become the fastest charging smartphone on the globe.
We also know that the front of the Red Magic 7 will carry a 6.8-inch 1080P resolution OLED straight screen, which is expected to support a screen refresh rate of 144Hz or higher. It will also support screen fingerprint recognition. In other aspects, the Red Magic 7 has a thickness of 9.5mm and a weight of 215g.

Well, we guess you all have been aware of it. But we also guess that you have never seen them in real photos. Today, Abhishek Yadav showcased the spy photos of the Red Magic 7. And as we can see, it adopts an under-screen camera. Though some other bloggers joked saying the TENAA clearly shows the front-mounted camera, in fact, there will be two models. And the global version only will support the under-screen camera tech.
