A few hours back, Honor’s official Weibo channel announced that Honor will participate in the 2022 MWC (World Mobile Communications Conference). At the same time, the Honor global new product launch conference will be held on February 28.
At this conference, Honor will release products equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 chip globally. Judging from the current information, it may be the global release of Honor Magic V. But we shouldn’t rule out the possibility of launching new members of the Magic series. Say, many users think the manufacturer might uncover the Honor Magic 4.
By the way, the latest products in the Magic series include the Magic3/3 Pro, Magic 3 Ultimate Edition, and Magic V folding screen phones. The Magic3 series is powered by the Snapdragon 888 Plus processor, equipped with a circular multi-camera, and an 89° super-curved screen.
Shortly after the official announcement, Zhao Ming, CEO of Honor Terminal Co., Ltd., said on Weibo, “Breaking through innovation and moving forward with determination, Honor brings global consumers an extraordinary product experience with software and hardware synergy with its all-round technological strength and extreme craftsmanship. On February 28, Honor will make another appearance at the MWC, and we look forward to seeing you all with us!”
On January 10, Honor’s first press conference in 2022 arrived as scheduled. At the event, the company unleashed Honor’s first foldable phone, the Honor Magic V, which is also the world’s first foldable equipped with a new generation of Snapdragon 8 mobile platform. Thus, we are talking about the most powerful folding screen mobile phone at present.
It is worth mentioning that last week, the Honor Magic V went on sale in China. With flagship configurations such as the new Snapdragon 8, self-developed floating water drop hinge, and 50MP triple camera, the phone was sold out in seconds.
Anyway, apart from the mentioned key features, there are other specs that make the Honor Magic V stand out. Among them, we should mention the 7.9-inch super-sized screen with an aspect ratio of 10.3:9, a resolution of 2272 x 1984, and a pixel density of 381ppi.
The external display of the phone is a 6.45-inch OLED screen with a ratio of 21.3:9, a resolution of 2560 x 1080, a pixel density of 431ppi, and a screen-to-body ratio of 90%.
