The Motorola Frontier 22 flagship phone will be available from July 2022. It will sport the upcoming Qualcomm chip, which will be launched as the SM8475. We guess it will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus. This chip is manufactured by TSMC’s 4nm process, which is better than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. So once it is out, this SoC will become the most powerful in the Android camp. Also, the phone will have up to 12GB of RAM (LPDDR5) and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The OLED display, which is slightly curved towards the sides, has a 20:9 format with a diagonal of 6.67 inches and has a FullHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. In addition, our protagonist will cover the DCI-P3 color space and support HDR10+.
Motorola pays special attention to the triple camera system of the “Frontier 22”. The latter will sport a 200-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization, 50-megapixel wide-angle (possibly ultra-wide-angle), and 12-megapixel telephoto lenses. The front camera will be placed in the punch hole and it will have a whopping 60MP resolution.
Other key data include Wi-Fi 6E, USB-C, Bluetooth 5.2, dual SIM support, and a fingerprint scanner under the display. The battery of the Android 12 smartphone has a capacity of 4500mAh and can be charged with a cable with up to 125 Watts. Also, the phone is said to support up to 50W wireless charging.
We still have no information on what name it will get when appear on the market. However, there is still a lot of time before the Motorola Frontier 22 will hit the market. So some of these specs might change.
