A couple of days ago, Samsung released a short video to announce the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event while unveiling the Galaxy S22 Ultra look that blended the Galaxy Note series and S series into one, new device. This morning, TechInsider spotted the release date and time of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series along with availability, when the Tab S8 series will debut.
According to the report, the phones of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series will be released on February 9 at 10:00 EST (16:00 CET). As for the availability of the S22 series, the source mentions the schedule as follows:
- Unpacking: February 9 at 10:00 EST
- Pre-reservations: February 14-21.
- Pre-order: from 21 to 24 February.
- Release: February 25

We know the possible specs and prices of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series
According to sources, Samsung is about to launch its new Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra smartphones, which will come with the most improved specs yet.
According to previously leaked information, Samsung Galaxy S22 series phones are likely to be equipped with Exynos 2200 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip depending on the market. The Galaxy S22 has a screen of 6.06 inches, S22+ is 6.55 inches and S22 Ultra is 6.8 inches. In particular, the S22 Ultra has the style of the Note series with a pen tray at the bottom of the device, a super bright screen with a maximum brightness of 1,750 nits.
The S22 and S22+ duo have three rear cameras, with the main camera using a 50MP Isocell GN5 sensor, a 10MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultra-wide angle. The S22 Ultra is said to have a 108MP main camera. The remaining three cameras include an ultra-wide tube, a 3x telephoto zoom, and a 10x zoom periscope camera, all 12MP.
Instead of only being equipped with 256GB of internal memory like on the Galaxy S21, Samsung can add a 512GB version to the S22 and S22 + to compete with the iPhone 13. The three models support 45W fast charging.

The phone will be sold more expensive than the previous generation. Twitter account Roland Quandt said that the trio of new smartphones Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra will have starting prices of $849, $1,049, and $1,249 respectively, $100 higher than the announced price of the previous generation.
