The third-gen iPhone SE 5G smartphone is on everyone’s lips. It’s going to be a small-screen device with an affordable price tag. So those who want to get their hands on an iPhone but can’t afford to buy it, this could become a good option for them. Well, many Apple fans have been waiting for this phone to appear on the shelves this spring. However, it seems the phone will be delayed.
Prior to this, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported that Apple is going to hold a spring conference to launch the new iPhone SE and other new hardware. As a reference, Apple’s last year event was held on April 20, where the company released the AirTag, the new iPad Pro, and 24-inch iMac models with the M1 chip, the new Apple TV 4K, and a purple option for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini.
As Ross Young Reported, the LCD screen used in the iPhone SE 5G started production earlier this month. So even if it is fully produced now, it will not be able to catch up with the spring new product launch in March. So he guesses that the launch of the iPhone will be pushed back to the second half of April or early May. At the same time, the Cupertino-based company ought to start shipments immediately after the launch.
In terms of appearance, the iPhone SE 5G has not changed much compared with the iPhone SE 2020. Thus, it still uses the design with the enlarged chin.
As for the selling points, the iPhone SE 5G will boast the Apple A15 Bionic processor. The latter uses up to 15 billion transistors. This is a serious improvement in comparison to the previous generation of chips that used 11.5 billion transistors. Well, as for the numbers, this simply means it is 30% faster. But the manufacturing process remains TSMC’s 5nm process.
The CPU uses 6 cores. They are 2 high-performance large cores and 4 high-efficiency small cores. The GPU has been upgraded from 4 cores to 6 cores. However, we should note that only the A15 Bionic on the iPad mini has 6 acres. The iPhone 13 Pro series has 5 cores while the iPhone 13/13 mini has only 4 cores.
The rest of the noteworthy features of the iPhone SE 5G include a better 12MP rear lens, which can improve the imaging effect.
