A few days ago we had the opportunity to witness the new leaked images of the Galaxy Tab S8 series that is made up of three models. Today, and unintentionally, the Korean company has leaked an image of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra model to leave evidence of that notch that takes center stage on the front of this next tablet.
The material was found on the Bixby support page, specifically in the area dedicated to the multi-device voice activation function. Next to what appears to be the Galaxy S21 Ultra, there is a tablet that gives the impression of having large dimensions, very thin edges, and, most importantly, the presence of a discreet notch in the center to house the cameras and other front sensors.
According to previous rumors that claimed the tablet would come with this notch, it will house two front-facing cameras, with an ultra-wide capable of shooting in 4K at 60fps. It was initially believed that this new company choice could be for the entire Tab S8 series, but leaks point out that this should be exclusive to the Ultra version.
Thanks to this relief on the display, the company will be able to greatly reduce the edges of its device, delivering a 14.6-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen, making it one of the largest tablets ever released.
Alleged Specifications of Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra
According to other rumors, the biggest highlight of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra might be its internal hardware. The device must use the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, which can make it one of the most powerful tablets in the world with the Android operating system. In addition, the tablet would come with 16GB of RAM and options of 128, 256, and 512GB of storage – in addition to offering Wi-Fi or LTE/5G versions.
Another highlight is the 11,200mAh battery with support for fast charging technology up to 45W. All these components would be housed in a body just 5.5mm thick, with overall measurements of 208.6 x 326.4 x 5.5mm. Other details that have emerged in recent weeks are its 11,200mAh battery, a 12MP rear camera sensor, and that notch that covers what would be a dual 12MP camera setup.

Of course, we would be facing a tablet with Android 12 in One UI 4, although we hope that the Korean company will be able to surprise us with Android 12L at some point; especially for being an update optimized for tablets. At the moment, this information is still unofficial. After the small blunder of the South Koreans, an announcement of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra can be expected soon.
