OPPO has two 5G mobile phones that have passed the 3C certification. Today, a Weibo blogger revealed that these two models are the OPPO Find X5 and X5 Pro. They are scheduled to hit the market after the Spring Festival. Also, he said that they will come standard with a VCB8JACH charger (same as the OnePlus 10 Pro). The latter supports 80W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, 10W reverse wireless charging, and seems to be equipped with a 5000mAh battery. By the way, the higher variant should support up to 100W charging.
The source also revealed that OPPO Find X5 will be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 flagship platform, whereas the OPPO Find X5 Pro will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 platform.
OPPO’s first tablet computer has also passed the certification this month, and it is expected to arrive together at the conference.
According to previous reports, the OPPO Find X5 will sport an AMOLED micro-arc punch-hole screen. It is expected to be 6.7 inches, to support LTP0 2.0, and to achieve variable refresh rates from 1Hz to 120Hz. In addition, the Find X5 Pro is expected to support QHD+ resolution.
In addition to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, the OPPO Find X5 Pro may also come with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage and is expected to run Android 12 -based ColorOS 12 system.
Other than that, the OPPO Find X5 Pro may use a 32MP Sony IMX709 front camera, while the rear lens ought to be a 50MP IMX766 main camera (OIS), 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and 13MP S5K3M5 telephoto camera. The Find X5 will be powered by a Dimensity 9000 chip and slightly different rear cameras.
We also think the OPPO Find X series will be using its self-developed image chip, Mariana MariSilicon X. The latter uses a 6 nm process and has a goal to enhance the quality of photos and videos and also expand the range of features inside Oppo smartphones’ cameras. Due to this ISP, OPPO won’t rely on either Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or the Dimensity 9000.
When looking at these features, we see that the OPPO Find X5 series will be very powerful and fight for the highest places. We are not saying that these phones will be dealbreakers. No, but if the company could offer them at relatively low prices, the new Find series smartphones will make a tough competition to others.
