A few days ago, Lu Weibing officially talked about the upcoming Redmi flagship series smartphones. After his tweet on Weibo was published, it caused a huge stir on the net. And many users along with analysts began guessing what features these series of smartphones will come with and what appearance they will adopt. Today, we got more official news concerning the Redmi K50 e-sports version.
The new phone, codenamed DreamPhone, will meet you next month. The new phone will come with dual VC, that is, two VC soaking versions, with extreme heat dissipation capability, challenging the industry’s coldest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. Honestly, for gaming smartphones having a strong heat dissipation system is a must.
In addition, the new phone also supports 120W Immortal Second Charge Pro fast charging. Due to it, the 4700mAh battery can be fully charged in just 17 minutes.
However, we should note that the Redmi K50 e-sports version will differ from the vanilla version. We mean not all of its features could be found on the original K50. Also, as we are dealing with a gaming smartphone, it’s logical to see that the manufacture has put a lot of goodies under the hood to make it unreachable in terms of performance.
Plus, earlier today, a well-known Weibo tipster exposed more information concerning this handset. He said that all previous leaks say the phone will come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip but no one talks about an X-axis linear motor, the previous JBL dual speakers, and a high-refresh-rate front panel. The latter is also protected by Corning Gorilla Victus. Plus, he talked about the features we were talking about above.
All these features prove that the Redmi K50 e-sports version is not a comprehensive flagship with a balanced configuration. Instead, it focuses on the hardware configurations such as performance and fast charging.
Also, we have to mention that the aforementioned 4700mAh + 120W is the new technology of the company. As you remember, just recently, the manufacturer announced its third chip, the Surge P1, which is a battery chip and ensures a fast-charging capability. It can charge the phone’s battery in only 17 minutes. This is way faster than that of the previous Redmi Note 11 series.
The Redmi K50 e-sports version has already obtained three certificates. It is the earliest and most powerful version of the K50 series, and it will debut as soon as possible after the Spring Festival.
