As OnePlus announced last week, the OnePlus 8T will be unveiled to the world on October 14th at 4 pm Europe time (10 a.m. EST). As a new flagship smartphone, it will feature incremental changes compared to its predecessor, the OnePlus 8 (Pro) presented on April 14th.
“OnePlus is always looking for ways to make the latest technology available to tech-savvy users as soon as we feel that it meets our high standards” said OnePlus CEO, Pete Lau.
“With the upcoming OnePlus 8T, we are once again raising the bar for ourselves in terms of the overall user experience (..)I am confident that the OnePlus 8T will also exceed expectations and offer an incomparable premium experience. ” he added.
The company has been gradually teasing details about the upcoming device: it is most likely to feature a display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 65W Wrap Charge Technology.
Additionally, other new OnePlus products will be presented along with the OnePlus 8T, such as a North America version of the OnePlus mid-ranger Nord or a limited edition similar to the McLaren edition which was first introduced in 2018.
